Rachael Lomax - Director of serenity

Rachael has 14yrs experience she started hairdressing in Bury St Edmunds where she built up an extensive clientele she trained at west Suffolk college and achieved her nvq level 2 and 3 then she decided that she would like to work for herself where she then went on the road in 2004 and offered a professional freelance service to her clients and she won the UPS small business award for how her business delivers more. she sends herself on regular training in London to the loreal academy and Redken in Hammersmith and has undergone courses at Sassoons and Sak’s then in 2008 she Established Serenity Hair Design and Beauty where she added beauty treatments to the list of services Here at Serenity Rachael and her team of stylists and beauty therapists  love to make clients  feel special and to look amazing so we are always update our skills and services to ensure the clients get the best and what they want . Rachael is now training at West Suffolk college to become an educator and will be offering courses from the salon in the future so look out for Serenity Education.

Katie Hyne

Joined the Serenity team in November 2008 as our Beauty Therapist. She has been a fully qualified NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Therapist since May 2008. Katie loves all aspect of Beauty Therapy. She is extremely passionate about her job and goes on regular training in London with top brand companies including OPI.

Kendell Nicholson-Scott

Joined the serenity team in October 2008 as an apprentice Hair Dresser. She is now fully qualified in NVQ Level 2 and currently doing her NVQ Level 3. Kendell enjoys all aspects of Hair Dressing especially colouring. She is very enthusiastic. Also she has gone on training at Loreal, Redken academy in Hammersmith and Wahl Barbering course. Recently she did raccoon Hair Extension Micro Weft Course. This is to keep up with new season trends.

Zara Veasey

Joined the serenity team in August 2011 as an apprentice Hair Dresser. She is currently studying her NVQ Level 2 at West Suffolk College. Zara is also trained in some aspects of Beauty Therapy Such as nail enhancements, waxing, eyelash extensions and spray tanning. Also Zara will be undergoing regular training in all aspects of hair and Beauty.
